I have now moved house! 'Whoo!' and 'Whew!' It took the whole weekend, but somehow we managed it. It involved a seven hour train journey home (the trains were screeeewed) and us driving the van down and then moving several van-loads of furniture into the new place. Massive thanks to soundslikebuuu and pinkapplejam (and of course my brother) for their help. They have both been stars and done wonders in getting the house into a livable state yesterday. Slowly but surely, one desk or bookcase at a time, the house is transforming from a cardboard box storage depot into a cosy living environment! Only a gazillion more things to do! XD


Oh, and to jazz up this boring entry, here are some photos! First up is Foo, my mum's cat, about to steal butter off the toast we had finished with. Secondly is a chicken, which we saw at the motorway services when stopping to check the sofa was tied to the roof properly. I'll take pictures of the house once we're unpacked, but not before. ^_~

My PC is setup at home again now, and hopefully we'll get net access before too long. Sadly I have a busy week and weekend ahead of me with project work to catch up on, but that's okay, I can cope with that. Right, back to work!
