I'm feeling much better today than I did yesterday. Yesterday evening was pretty good, with plenty of work done on artwork, and an ample dosage of music gaming.

As a collaborative purchase with nekofairy666, we now have three Taiko no Tatsujin games (with a fourth game following shortly) and two Taiko drum peripherals. This game is awesome, and infinitely improved with the two player game. The drumming sounds much more impressive when both drums are drumming in unison, or indeed alternating between series of beats - it sounds much more like a proper song. Very very cool, and a new favourite. One of the best things about the game is that you really have to whack the drum quite hard with the (hollow) sticks, and they are actually quite loud. This means that the noise from your drums is very audible and as much a part of the experience as the music in the game, much like the clapping in Donkey Konga.

Sweatdrop-house (where I live ^_~) has been over-run with music games recently, with a lot of Donkey Konga being played recently too. I just picked up Donkey Konga 3 (JPN) which [info]e_m_e_r_a_l_d might appreciate if only for its Fire Emblem track. Looking forward to playing four player on this some day, as Matt (who has no LJ! o_o) will bring over his two sets of Bongos too.

Busy night ahead of me with lots of artwork to do (deadline tomorrow morning), but that's okay. If I get straight to work then I ought to be able to get everything done, then at least its a bank holiday weekend (even if I do have artwork to do then as well, whoops XD). Right, time for a coffee, then back to work.
