I haven't drawn anything in ages, so it was fun to do this. I'm feeling a little rusty, I ought to doodle more often. I'm using Letraset Tria markers on this.

Sorry, I totally lowered the tone! X3

Such pretty colors! I can't believe what people can do with markers, it's amazing.

Thanks Tracy! I don't often like to use markers because they take me forever and I have 'commitment issues' with natural media, haha. I tested out colours for a while before doing this.

so pretty!, and the hair is great (also BOOBS!)

Thank-you for noticing! XD Glad you like it!

Mmm ..boobies XD

Nice rendering! Love the hair :)

Haha, coming from you that's a massive complement, I love your natural media stuff! :3

Oh man. Introduce me to your model! =)

She's suffering from back pain at the moment!

That's ok, so am I. We can share tips.

Nice one! I like the colours and lace (<- Insert EGL catchphrase here). How is she inked?

Also reminds me a little of some Mechafoetus works and of Phoenix Wright/Capcom artz ^^

Thanks Laura! It's cool that you think this is a bit more Capcom than my usual stuff. ^^ I inked her using Manga Studio 4, which I'm liking a lot, but I have did run into some interface difficulties.

Ahh this weekend I am DLing MS4 (with thanks! =3) and getting to know it soon. Maybe we need a specific thread with interface issues so we can share pain and solutions.

Ah, not a bad idea! :) Feel free to pester me if it gives you trouble though, as there are usually ways to tame the beast! I want to use it more!

I may have to XD I tried installing it this afternoon and it's being pissy with installing tomes/materials, and not picking up any line pressure/depth/variation. Sads! It's not really very easy to install at all, is it?

Emma had a similar problem!! What a pain. I don't think I have used it on the PC yet, only on Mac, so I can't comment on the install procedure, but she ended up copying the files manually over from the install CD directory.

I tried doing that but got completely lost. D: I'll have another look over it someday but I wasted two hours yesterday faffing with it on the laptop. I'm leaving MS3 on my main PC!!

Grr! And don't tell me I need an Inutos 4 for it to pick up the line pressure as well..? O_o Aiee!

I was told that MS4 would fix all the pressure problems in Vista. :/ Sads! I'll install it on my laptop and let you know how I get on.

Aw thanks Dock. You're awesome :D Do let me know when you're next free anyway, I'll pop by with lappy and stuff, steal your printer and drink your tea XD

Wow, this is very pretty! I love her eyes and her hair!

Glad you like it! I was cursing the hair when I started to ink it!

Woo lovely :) Letraset Tria markers? WHere did you get them and what sort of paper are they best used on? :3

I got them directly from Letraset (^^;;;) but you can get them anywhere I expect. As for paper, it's just 80gsm Xerox-brand A4 copier paper, lol.

Great piece dude, love the marker shades. I like the way her face came out. It has all the tell-tale aesthetics of a 'Dock' piece, and yet there's something new about the style too.

Oh, also, nice cleavage render XD

Nice! And yay tria markers!! Lovely job on the lace and hair and I love the glasses!

This is one of my favourite things I've seen from you in a while! I think the facial features are a slightly different style from what I often see from you, slightly more Western-looking, which at the moment I'm more a fan of really. I think maybe it's the mouth shape, and I wonder how much that's just from the way you have shaded with natural media. It really works for me though.

I'm impressed what an even tone you've gotten, is that how the markers generally works or is that because you're particularly good? Do you have to use special paper? I vote for more natural media from you!!

It's a lovely piece. :)

She's lovely - really vibrant and characterful :) I like your marker stuff, you should do more :D

i stumbled across this pic while doing a random search for manga studio technical stuff (it looks amazing btw - natural media really suits you - the hair is fantastic), and i thought i'd add your journal and watch you for a bit. it's nice to see people on the creative side :)

i read your profile, so i'm not expecting an add back... er, unless you want to. hkjuhiu
